Can’t really believe what just happened to be honest. We certainly rode our luck, Lunin stepped up huge, and the team gave everything but dam that wasn’t an easy watch, I’m not sure I give too much credit to Carlo on this one as I can’t say we deserved to go through in terms of most of the metrics used to judge a football game.
Man city absolutely dominated that 2nd half and Man Citys goals always seemed like they were on their way, I can’t believe we only conceded 1 goal. I thought the first half was much better from us as we defended deep, and let City have the ball but we still offered a threat, the 2nd half we just seemed to give up on any form of possession or attack. It is possible Man City were just that good and we couldn’t have done much else, but it did feel like Carlo was happy to let things continue until the inevitable goal came. He then finally decided to add some fresh legs on the pitch but I feel like it was 10 minutes too late.
Because we have qualified, because it is against Manchester City away, because we qualified without our 1st choice GK, 2 first choice CBs, and our first choice CDM, and because its Carlo I don’t want to dwell on the negatives much more, I’m just looking forward to Bayern Munich now.

Lunin deserves to be a starting GK, i’m really hoping we can get him to continue for another season so we can see how Tibo will return and perform
Disappointed with Brahim Diaz a little, was expecting a bit more from his dribbling against a tiring Man City team
Gutted Carvajal will miss the first leg, he’s the best RB in the world
