Shit… This is news I didn’t want to hear. Looks like the Euros in the summer will be his last tournament… what a player he has been for us, came in at the perfect time to replace Xabi Alonso, he leaves much like Zidane did, at the top of his game. Thank you Kroos.

Winning the league with so many games to go makes these last few games of the season have a sort of pre season feel to them, which has a real benefit of being able to get a lot more precise minutes to the squad players, especially the youngsters whom we are not sure about yet.

What a great game to win La Liga with, 3-0 victory over Cadiz, I enjoyed the line up, seeing the regulars get rest ( apart from Carvajal, which was the only downside for me, not sure why he needed to play the full game, was unnecessarily risky) and seeing all the squad players get game

Was great to see Guler start and score against Real Sociedad, it was quite a fun line up to see as we got to see players play who don’t play so often, Fran Garcia looked good, looked less nervy than his performances earlier on in the season, maybe he is getting used to RM now

As I write this article, we still don’t know if Luka Modric will be extending his contract in the summer of 2024 for another season. I for one hope he does, I didn’t want Guti to leave when he did, I didn’t want Ozil to leave when he did, I’m not the best at moving
